    In Other News…

    March has been a very eventful month for us. You might even call some events “life changing.” In the last week of March, we were able to get away for a week and visit Ji’s family in Jordan. Unlike the weather in Germany, (and also Louisville as we have seen in the weather forecast) it was sunny and warm. Though our time there was short, we made sure that we squeezed every second out of it.     A Wind of Change

    Where should we start? A common theme that you might have noticed is us mentioning that time has gone by quickly. This is more true than ever before…time is literally flying by and we don’t even know where the time has gone. You can visibly see time flying by when looking at pictures of our sweet little boy, but more on that later. We are also able to see how fast time flies by, when looking at the most recent developments on the question where we will go after our time here in Syke. It is crazy to think that we are already talking about that…did we not just get here?…

    Merry and Cold

    It seems that with the new weather conditions and new germs, our immune system decided to take a vacation just in time for Christmas. We have been passing back and forth a cold for the past month and it has not been fun – to say the least. To add to the overall theme, the sun seems to be on strike, as we have not seen it for several days. Though our body decided to slow down, the world around us didn’t. As you may expect, Christmas is as much a busy season here as it is for you. If we may dare say – Christmas time here in Germany…
